Ok So now they have introduced Fingerprinting at the Shelter I stay at. Electronic mind you but still. Started out we needed ID cards then the fingerprints. Seeing as the Drop In Center was originally designed as a 5 story jail what's next Bars on the windows and cage doors on all our rooms*shakes head* My Goodness I am feeling more and more like a prisoner or inmate in a maximum security Prison only with the ability to leave when ever you want until 12 midnight then anyone on the 4th or 5th floor are not allowed to leave. Computers T.V.'s are turned off and smoke decks that are outside are locked.4th and 5th floors are considered Transitional housing basically meaning getting you back on track and ready to live on your own again.Except one problem with that is the cost of housing is so bloody expensive your can't afford to move out lol You pretty much need to be a banker or lawyer or owner of your own business. So what else is next a daily piss test? Wouldn't doubt it considering the amount of people on Crack/cocaine or other substances, including alcohol.

Oh well that is what is going on so far.

Well folks I have more news on the sister search.

The post adoption worker phoned me today and told me some more it goes as follows:

Her name is Tammy(last name not known yet) she is 5ft7 brown hair brown eyes

and 130 lbs. She is currently unemployed and battling addictions. I am an uncle of 11 kids O_O Holy Hell lmao

Mom had epilepsy(spelling unknown)she is basically the female version of me.Smartass likes to joke around but when confronted stands her ground. and Takes no shit from anyone.

This is all I have for now I shall update more when I know more.

Mors my sis your not being replaced but you are getting another sister lmao

Well I got some more Info from the Adoption agency.

It goes as follows:

Mom was 11 years old when her,her brother and sister were removed from their home by social services. Her Mom was Neglectful in the sense that they kids were Malnutrishioned and the house hold was filthy according to the records of the early time. She was born in 1946 had me at 29. Met my father when she was attending a "special" School. Apparently Mom was, 1) they say Borderline Mentally Retarded on one page and severly retarted on anotherpage. Father was slow minded,so to speak.

The sister I mentioned is apparently younger than me cuz nothing is mentioned in the forms I recieved about her.

Grandfather was mentioned as not uncaring but didn't take responsibility for Mom and her siblings and was an alcoholic.

Oh Great My birth Family is messed up LMAO no wonder I am so screwed up hehe(kidding)

But Seriously that is what I have so far. I had to rewrite the Undefining letter to take out my current location and I have to add a current photo before I can send the letter.

Well I guess I should start with BRRRRRRR cold it is flippin cold here in Alberta. Second is the hard part. I got a call on The 18th of December also my Birthday from my adoption agency that They found *starts to tear up* My blood sister that I never thought I had. The sister from the Mother I have been searching for  for almost 30 some years. The Info is as goes, 1991 birth mother passed away at the age of 42 and she had me at 27. Sister has been searching for me since 1998....... *cries* I ACTUALLY HAVE A SISTER *smiles tearfully* She has 2 kids and so far there is nothing on my birth father as of yet. I can start to close the chapter of the Benjamin Lee Castle life and begin to move on with my life.

For those who don't know Benjamin Lee Castle was my birth name and Joel Andrew Micheal Sereda is my adopted name.

I just finished the Letter to be sent to my adoption agent and from there on to my sister. Anyways before I start getting too emotional I had better get going.

Here I thought our little community was considered a family.

Well Here I find different, why did it take a year to find out a member of our FAMILY was killed. I knew about RB but I mean this was a girl who everyone knew and I know some ppl know her went by the name of Pixie, and for ppl who used Yahoo cookies1590. She was killed in an accident 07-07-07 when she was white water rafting. What  was Told by HER cousin is that she went over the falls. Now why did it take a year for ppl to find out. I talked to her cousin,she sent a rose down the river to honour her memory. As did I this morning. She is buried in California.I am 33 years old some of the members are older but point being this girl should have out lived us. Ellie or as everyone knew her Pixie May you rest in peace and hopes that God will take care of you.

Well figure I would give all my wonderful friends an update.

I applied at a Hotel/Restaurant for a kitchen job, The Hotel is called the Sandman and the Restaurant is called Moxies.

OMG $2.60 for a cup of coffee. I guess the rooms from what I heard are like 200 a night O_O holy crap expensive lol.

But with this it means that I can actually look forward to moving out of the shelter finally YAY hehe. Starters till I get cash saved up I will be moving to the 5th floor of the drop in center. Then from there after cash is saved I can move into an apartment. *does happy dance till dizzy* I am so excited lol

NHL Calgary Lost *snickers*  Like I keep telling everyone Detroit is going to win the cup lmao

Well ppl today is a black day in the Sereda Family.

We had another family member pass away one of my Auntie's,

Mom sent me the email saying she died at 3 am this morning,She also said she had a stroke about 2 days prior and was in the hospital.

I may be vacant for about 3 days.Not sure, I may take some of my saved up money and go rent a hotel room so I can be to myself. Much Love and a heavy heart

Well I think it is time for my update to you fine loverly ppl(Lemony Snicket) lmao Well got word of a warehouse Job that pays 14 an hour so every 2 weeks is like 1400 dollars. Gotta update my resume then I am def going to apply then that gets me a step closer to getting out of the shelter. Ummmm

about a month back we had a very nasty snow storm mostly wind but it was -30 celcius windchill made it -49,damn that was cold in the wind lol,I also found out wearing steel toe shoes is not the brightest of ideas but that is all I had. But 13.5 hours in that got me frost bite on my big right toe which is almost healed YAY. Doctor politely told me to "never darken her door step again" Meaning I was healed enough I didn't have to go back. That Homeless shelter Man will drive a person bonkers.

Everything from Crackheads to Potheads(no offence to the ppl  of Gothopia who smoke weed) and of course major drunks. Mind you putting a bar behind the shelter didn't help. and a liquor board across the bridge about 8 blocks away.

Last but least you also have the thieves, never I repeat never leave anything of value out of your sight with in 30 seconds it is being sold for crack.*cries  due to stolen ipod* least they haven't stolen my laptop yet. ANd yes before you ppl say something to that effect Yes I am Homeless and own a laptop.

I am homeless not broke. Just can't afford the high prices for rent. But I guess that is all for now.

I am just letting you know Gothopia That it may be a while before I can check messages or chat with you all.I got frostbite on my big right toe. I have to go see the doctor every morning to get the Bandages changed and I can't wear my right shoe. Needless to say thank goodness I have my own cane cuz it will come in handy, very handy.Usually I go to a place called Eau Claire Market with my laptop, but without ability to walk very well and no shoe I will only be able to check here when I get back to SunAlta(sleeping shelter for me)I will miss you all greatly.Please try to stay in touch as I will do my best to aswell.
