I collect vampire movies and the best include Bram Stoker's Dracula, Anne Rice's Interview With A Vampire and Full Moon's Vampire Journals as well as the wonderfully zany Sundown.

I adore the words of David Brin, Anne Rice, Tanith Lee, Lois McMaster Bujold, Stephen King, Elizabeth Moon, Alister Reynolds and Jack McDevitt. A Song of Ice and Fire is a big favorite and I really enjoy the Harry Potter novels.

I loathe the novels the Tom Clancy and Terry Goodkind (actually I just read some paragraphs from his first book--that and his interviews turned me off from him).
