Blog Entry: (Its been a hot minute but I figured I'd post a little something I wrote, you you guys enjoy!) Beneath the surface lies a jewel The beauty is quite exquisite But society has such silly rules It's there but then it isn't The minds eye blocked by useless waste Led sightless through the fire Ones led by lust march with great haste For things that one desires Yet no one tries to open wide As if things are all right Oblivious in this inane tide Unseeing in this plight Superfluous are the things that man And woman find appealing Its time for one to make a stand Firm resolves are quite unyielding For it is skin deep, beneath the grain That should be paid attention One link must move to break the chain To be lifted from suspension A picture is worth a thousand words So says the outer texture Just this alone can leave one stirred But true beauty can't be measured See deep within; the truth just might surprise Or horrify to those with virgin eyes...
