Addressing Your Legal question, After the age of 16 in most states, 14 even in others, you have the choice to go live with either parent at your descression (unless the parent is otherwise found incompetent or not mentally capable of taking care of a child) The whole court thing will pretty much be between the parents, and the only way the court would BE involved is if one parent decided to try at keep you/Take you away from the other (unlikely if you play your cards right) I hope I helped at least, if you need anything else feel free to ask, I know the law pretty well.

i kno, i had that problem too, i cared too much, and then i would always be left hurt by my "friends" now i try to limit how much i care....it doesn't work to well, i still hide my real self from people so i don't end up hurting or embarassing the ones i love, and so i don't end up....even more hurt.....or abandoned.....
